Welcome

Welcome to Parents Place. Our staff and services make us the Bay Area's leading family resource center, providing a place for parents to get education and counseling about parenting, as well as for children of all ages to find peer support, social networks, and guidance on their developmental journey.

Our highly trained staff offers the experience and clinical skills to work with parents and children on managing a broad range of challenges they face in their families. Individual consultation and counseling, support groups, and workshops are all available.

We have also been in the forefront of creating exceptional programs and services for parents with children who have special needs, as well as for children who have sustained significant trauma in their early years. Our Center for Special Needs addresses disabilities from the widest possible perspective, whether they are cognitive, emotional, physical, or developmental. Our Child Trauma Training Institute is receiving national, and international, attention for our work with young children, and serves as a model for other organizations seeking to develop similar services.

Visit our At Other Sites page to learn about Parents Place Express, our services for parents where they live and work in the community.
