Developmental Assessments

When you hear that your child may have a developmental disability, you want answers right away to the questions that often arise: Does my child have Asperger’s syndrome? Does he have an autism spectrum disorder? How serious is it? How can we help him?

At Parents Place’s Center for Special Needs, we take your concerns seriously—and we provide thorough, timely assessments that allow you to make the best decisions for your son or daughter. Our psychologists, family therapists, play therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals are highly skilled in administering the latest tests to diagnose developmental conditions, as well as in treating them.

Reaching Fullest Potential

Just as important, our team has years of experience in caring for children and families. We know that the term “developmental disability” can trigger many concerns. Working closely with you, your pediatrician, and other professionals in the community, we ensure that your child receives individualized care and attention so that he reaches his fullest potential.
