You can make a real difference right here in Marin County. Whether you can give an hour a week or an hour a month, JFCS has the perfect volunteer opportunity to fit your interests, your schedule, and your desire to reach out and help those in need.

Some ways to volunteer, with your child, with a senior:

Senior Companionship - Visit a senior once a week to provide companionship and/or assistance.  You will build a relationship with your companion that will enrich both of your lives!  Some of our volunteers bring their children on these visits, which the seniors love.

Holiday Bay Outreach - Four times a year, around Jewish holidays, JFCS creates gift bags with holiday foods for all the Jewish seniors in Marin.  Parents bring their children to help decorate and assemble the bags, and then to deliver them.  This is a great family project, and it is so appreciated by the recipients!
