Occupational and Sensory Assessments

Your child may find it unbearable to be in a well-lighted room, or she may exhibit little reaction when she touches a sizzling saucepan. She may be showing signs of a sensory processing disorder (SPD), a condition that involves an over- or under-response to one or more of the five senses: sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell.

Our Center for Special Needs specialists, including educational specialists and occupational therapists, are adept in assessing your child’s SPD, interpreting its causes, and providing specific therapies to help.
