An authority on the social and emotional development of children, Sue has authored two books: I Want It My Way! Problem-Solving Techniques with Children Two to Eight and Activities to Develop Problem-Solving Abilities in Young Children. Sue facilitates workshops focusing on issues of concern to families with young children, including: discipline, anger management, preschool and kindergarten choice, sibling rivalry, conflict resolution, the development of responsibility and independence, and many other topics. Sue was head teacher at Stanford University’s Bing Nursery School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Scripps College and her master’s degree in human development from Pacific Oaks College.
